Description of Blast
Blast is an Ethereum Layer 2 built by the Blur team as an optimistic rollup focused not only on scaling but also on native yield. The network is EVM-equivalent, lowers fees, and inherits Ethereum security while allowing bridged ETH and stablecoins to earn yield through staking and on-chain treasury strategies.
For developers, Blast enables familiar Ethereum tooling together with new business models: users can receive native yield and developers can capture a share of gas-related value. The ecosystem already includes DeFi, lending, infrastructure, gaming, and social products built around these mechanics.
