Description of Cardano

Cardano is a third-generation blockchain built around a research-driven approach, formal methods, and high reliability. It uses the Ouroboros Proof-of-Stake protocol and a layered architecture that separates settlement from computation, helping the network scale while maintaining a strong security model.

Cardano's ecosystem is attractive for financial and enterprise use cases thanks to Plutus and Marlowe smart-contract languages, low fees, and a high degree of decentralization through stake pools. Popular applications include DeFi, staking, NFT marketplaces, and identity-oriented infrastructure.

If you plan to launch a DeFi protocol, NFT platform, financial application, or enterprise Web3 service on Cardano, FreeBlock can deliver the project from architecture and smart contracts to ecosystem integration and interface design.
