Heco, or Huobi ECO Chain, is an EVM-compatible public blockchain built for high-performance DeFi applications, NFT platforms, and cross-chain services. It uses a hybrid validator model, short block times, and low transaction costs while remaining easy for Ethereum developers to adopt.
The network historically supported a range of DeFi and infrastructure projects tied to the Huobi ecosystem. At the same time, teams should account for periods of lower activity and bridge-related security incidents when planning new products, which increases the importance of sound architecture and auditing.
