Its paintings, created without human intervention using neural networks such as Stable Diffusion and Kandinsky 2.1, are selected by a decentralized DAO community. Participants vote for the best works and styles, shaping Botto’s creative output. At a recent Sotheby’s auction, its paintings sold for $350,000.
The creators of the project believe that artificial intelligence is capable of surpassing humans in art.
