BLOOM
Description of BLOOM
BLOOM is a large open multilingual model from the BigScience project: 176 billion parameters, 46 natural languages, and 13 programming languages.
The model was created as an open standard for research and development, with a transparent training process and open weights, making it one of the most accessible general-purpose LLMs for international projects. BLOOM’s context window is on the order of a few thousand tokens (around 2K), which is sufficient for dialogues, processing medium-length documents, code generation, and multilingual content.
Thanks to its broad language coverage, BLOOM is well suited for multilingual chatbots and assistants, educational platforms, translation and terminology services, as well as prototypes involving low-resource languages. The FreeBlock team uses BLOOM to build custom assistants, learning and content systems, fine-tunes the model on domain data, and integrates it into web services, mobile applications, and internal portals. If you want to create AI that can talk to customers in dozens of languages, order project development with BLOOM from FreeBlock.
