Description of Node.js

Node.js is a server-side platform based on the V8 engine that allows developers to build scalable network applications using JavaScript. Thanks to its non-blocking I/O model, Node.js delivers high performance when handling large numbers of simultaneous connections, making it a convenient solution for real-time applications and microservice architectures.

It is often used for developing APIs, backend parts of web applications, cryptocurrency wallets, and various decentralized solutions. Node.js has a mature ecosystem with millions of modules in npm, which significantly speeds up development and simplifies support for complex projects.
