PaLM
Description of PaLM
PaLM (Pathways Language Model) is a family of large language models from Google, including PaLM 540B and the newer PaLM 2 generation. These are dense decoder-only Transformer models scaled up to 540 billion parameters and trained on hundreds of billions of tokens (around 780 billion) of diverse data: web pages, books, news, code, and dialogues.
PaLM demonstrates strong results in complex reasoning, text problem solving, programming, and translation tasks, especially in few-shot and chain-of-thought scenarios.
Access to PaLM and PaLM 2 is provided through Google Cloud (Vertex AI), which simplifies scaling, monitoring, and compliance with security requirements.
PaLM can be used to develop enterprise assistants and chatbots, intelligent search and RAG systems, analytics dashboards, copilot solutions for developers and employees, as well as to integrate language, code, and multimodal capabilities (through related models such as PaLM-E) into digital products.
The FreeBlock team designs and implements solutions based on PaLM: from architecture and Google Cloud integration to fine-tuning prompts, context, and business logic. If you want to use the power of Google LLMs in products and processes, order AI project development with PaLM from FreeBlock.
