Description of WalletConnect
WalletConnect is an open-standard protocol that provides a secure connection between cryptocurrency wallets and decentralized applications (dApps). It allows users to interact with dApps without revealing their private keys by using QR codes and deep links to establish an encrypted connection.
The key advantage of WalletConnect is that it removes the need for browser extensions and allows mobile wallets to be used as an external authentication method. This improves both security and convenience when interacting with blockchain applications. The protocol has become widely adopted across Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and other ecosystems.
