Yi is a family of open foundation AI models from 01.AI, designed to work in two languages at once—English and Chinese. Yi models (6B, 9B, 34B, and Yi-1.5) are trained on trillions of tokens and deliver strong results in text understanding, reasoning, reading, and multilingual scenarios. Thanks to open access to the weights and support for deployment both in the cloud and on-premise, Yi is a convenient choice for companies that need powerful but controllable AI solutions.
