FREEBLOCK / SMART CONTRACTS
DAO development
and governance
Build collective decision-making tools, from proposals and voting to execution. We develop smart contracts, participant interfaces and treasury access rules.
For protocols, communities and product teams. Start with the governance rules.
01 / PRODUCT CAPABILITIES
From a proposal to an executed decision
A DAO starts with rules: who can propose changes, how votes are counted and how results are executed. We turn those rules into working flows.
Proposals and votes
Proposal creation, voting periods, quorum, delegation and decision history. Members see the rules before voting.
Treasury controls
Spending approvals, signer roles and transaction logs. Integrate the selected multisig and asset records.
Decision execution
Connect voting outcomes to permitted actions. Define delays, cancellation and emergency authority.
02 / DELIVERY SCOPE
Governance rules in code and interface
Build a complete product or add governance to an existing protocol. Agree the voting model before selecting tools.
-
Governance model
Define roles, voting power, quorum, timing and permitted actions.
-
Contracts and treasury
Implement governance, execution and multisig integrations for the agreed architecture.
-
Participant interface
Build proposals, voting, delegation and treasury views.
-
Testing and handover
Test authority and proposal states, then prepare launch and operator instructions.
03 / ARCHITECTURE
Define authority before the first vote
- On-chain or off-chain
- Choose where votes are recorded and how results trigger execution. This affects participation costs and trust assumptions.
- Voting power and delegation
- Define voting-power sources, snapshots and change rules. Plan quorum and low-participation behavior.
- Treasury and upgrades
- Specify who can spend, upgrade contracts or pause operations. These powers should be visible to participants.

Real projects behind the work
SAWA Launchpad demonstrates related experience with complex smart contracts, staking and Web3 platform interfaces. Your DAO governance model is designed for your community's rules.

What we builtDevelopment of an IDO launchpad for launching projects on various blockchains. Creation of a marketplace for trading allocations and the platform’s own token. Implementation of a staking and farming system for participation in the ecosystem. Integration of a referral program to attract new users. Connection of Chainlink oracles…

Test authority and state transitions
Decentralization depends on actual contract and signer permissions. The governance model should make those boundaries explicit.
- Quorum, voting periods and voting-power calculations.
- Duplicate voting and proposal execution.
- Cancellation, delays and emergency authority.
- Treasury access and signer changes.
06 / COST AND TIMING
An estimate for your scope
First we define the initial release and its dependencies. Then we estimate the delivery phases and identify external costs separately.
Governance model
Voting rules, delegation and execution.
Contracts and integrations
Multisig, token, treasury and existing protocol.
Interface and launch
Portals, history, testing, auditing and support.

08 / FAQ
Before we start
Does a DAO need its own token?
Not always. Voting rights depend on the community model. A token is one option rather than a mandatory first step.
Can existing governance tools be used?
Yes. We compare suitable components with custom implementation and check that voting and execution rules remain compatible.
Can voting be connected to treasury actions?
Yes. Define permitted actions, approvals, delays and signer roles. Voting outcomes must respect the agreed execution checks.
Is a contract audit included?
Agreed tests and review are included. An independent audit and remediation are planned as a separate phase.
How do you estimate cost and timing?
After an initial discussion, we agree on the first release, supported networks and integrations. We estimate delivery by phase and list external costs separately, including infrastructure, third-party services and an independent audit if required.
What do we receive after launch?
You receive source code, documentation and deployment instructions within the agreed scope. Support, monitoring and future releases can be included in a separate delivery plan.
FREEBLOCK / LET’S TALK
How should members make decisions?
Describe the community, roles, voting model and treasury actions. Do you already have a token, contracts or a live protocol?
